Dear Sir:
I shall cer-tainly accept your kind invitation to attend the re-union of the “Free Soilers of 1848” on the 9th of August next, and I thank you with all my heart for your generous and well-timed effort to secure this meeting of such as are left of those who participated in the grand movement for human freedom
which the “Free Soilers” inaugurated.
