Letter from Milton M. Fisher to Samuel Downer regarding the publication of his reunion speech

In this letter Milton M. Fisher submits a newspaper clipping containing his speech from the reunion of the Free Soil Party. He states that he is giving it to Samuel Downer for the publication of the proceedings. He asks to receive a copy of the proceedings when they are published, saying that he will pay for it.

Samuel Downer Esq

Dear Sir

The[?] "little speech" now being delivered was written out as a common column[?] for our local paper.  I have cut it out and interjected a few links[?] to give it the appearance of an address.  As such I now commit it to your hand for the speaker and shall wish to obtain a copy of the proceedings when published and to pay my share of the cost
