Letter from Hannah Hobart to Mr. Lincoln Regarding Rev. Peter Hobart's Journal

Description

This item is a letter written on October 10, 1870 by Hannah Hobart of Fairfield, Connecticut. The letter is addressed to Mr. Lincoln in Hingham, Massachusetts. Hobart states that she is copying Rev. Peter Hobart's journal by hand and will send the copy to Lincoln. She states that the last time the diary was sent to a researcher in Hingham, a number of leaves were torn out of the journal, and she will therefore not be sending the original.
