PERKINS INSTITUTION

AND MASSACHUSETTS ASYLUM

FOR THE BLIND.

                                Boston, August 3rd 1877.

My dear Mr. Downer:

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than to accept your kind invitation for Thursday next. My love and admiration for the Doctor, as well as my own political principles, make me look on the old Free Soil Party as an honor to this or any other country: and shall esteem it a privilege to be present at the reunion.

                                Yours very respectfully,

                                                M. Anagnos
