This is a set of two images depicting the sides of General Benjamin Lincoln's marble tombstone located in the Hingham Cemetery. It has been placed inside a fence and United States flags can be seen around it. On one side of the rectangular block it says:

BENJAMIN LINCOLN.
Mayor-General in the Army of the Revolution.
BORN JANUARY 24, 1733.
DIED MAY 9, 1810.

The other side of the stone says:

ERECTED BY HIS DESCENDANTS.
1852.
