Description

This item is Benjamin Lincoln's handwritten will, which he signed on February 10, 1810. The four page document details how Lincoln would like his possessions to be divided between his wife, children, and grandchildren. His wife Mary is to receive such items as his furniture , watch, carriage, and some money. Most of the real estate is left to his son Martin Lincoln (who receives the homestead), and his daughters Hannah Lincoln and Sarah Thaxter. The other members of the family received money.
