On the back of this post card to Samuel Downer, A. G. Walker acknowledges receipt of, and accepts, his invitation to the reunion of the free soil party.

The front of this postcard contains a one-cent postage stamp and a pre-printed message which states how to fill out the card. The card is addressed to Samuel Downer and there is a Worcester postmark. Written sideways in red ink along the right side of the postcard is Walker's name and city.
