This article from the Hingham Journal details the arrest of Alice "Pat" Granahan while she protested the Boston Edison Company's decision to reopen the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Almost thirty demonstrators were arrested for not leaving the property. Granahan states that she was at first hesitate to be arrested, but later embraced the idea in order to further her cause. She says that she would do it again. One of Granahan's relatives has written "My hero!" on the bottom of the clipping.
