I have received your invitation to join the "Free Soil Reunion' August Ninth - and while I thank you for the courtesy extended - I also gladly accept the invitation.
There are not many of us left - but it seems <insertion: to my mind> that those who remain come nearer to being the "Last of the Earth" than any brand of men known to me.
