Dear Sir,
I received your note and in reply I will say that nothing could give me more pleasure than to accept of your kind invitation to be with on the 9th of the month, you may therefore expect to see me as I know of nothing to prevent of my being present at that time, Allow me to name a few who done good service to the cause of that year and who may not all be known to you, and who I think would like to be present.-
